Debugger Mac Book Pro 2011
« on: March 26, 2020, 11:37:10 am »
Hi all,

I have a problem to use the Debugger. I have installed CodeBlocks, Xcode, gdb, Homebrew and XQuartz.
Also I changed this Setting in Codeblock:

Settings -> Environment Settings -> General Settings -> Terminal to launch console programs: /opt/X11/bin/xterm -e $SCRIPT

Settings -> Debugger -> GDB/CDB debugger -> default -> Excecutable path: /usr/local/Cellar/gdb/9.1_1/bin/gdb

If I run the Debugger yet it just opens Xquartz with an empty window called sleep.
In the Debugger this log is written:

Building to ensure sources are up-to-date
Selecting target:
Adding source dir: /Users/Tobi/Desktop/ProgrammierenInC/Aufgaben/TestDebugger/
Adding source dir: /Users/Tobi/Desktop/ProgrammierenInC/Aufgaben/TestDebugger/
Adding file: /Users/Tobi/Desktop/ProgrammierenInC/Aufgaben/TestDebugger/bin/Debug/TestDebugger
Changing directory to: /Users/Tobi/Desktop/ProgrammierenInC/Aufgaben/TestDebugger/.
Set variable: DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH=.:
Starting debugger: /usr/local/Cellar/gdb/9.1_1/bin/gdb -nx -fullname  -quiet  -args /Users/Tobi/Desktop/ProgrammierenInC/Aufgaben/TestDebugger/bin/Debug/TestDebugger
Registered new type: wxString
Registered new type: STL String
Registered new type: STL Vector
Setting breakpoints
Debugger name and version: GNU gdb (GDB) 9.1
No stack.

Also if I open Watches I can see an empty windows.

I have attached some pictures for a better understanding.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? :-)
