Codeblocks and the Apollo guidance computer
« on: July 13, 2019, 09:45:39 pm »
Hi, just found this:

Quote
In my case, I wrote the software on my laptop and assembled it with yaYUL, a modern version of YUL written by the Virtual AGC team. I tested the software on a simulated AGC using the Code::Blocks IDE, which provides debugging features somewhat similar to what the monitor provided in the 1960s.

Noice :)

Cool, nothing wrong with that.

Code::Blocks also mentioned in #11 of the Notes and references part of above posted link.

The Apollo navigation computer is a digital computer designed for the Apollo program installed aboard each Apollo command module and the Apollo lunar module. The AGC provided the computational and electronic interfaces for guidance, navigation, and control of the spacecraft.

There is a magnificent and extensive series of videos about the restoration of the Apollo Guidance Computer
