Description: Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS
For the Code::Blocks I am using, it is called rev 0:
Build: May 9 2017, 19:31:10-wx3.0.2(Linux,unicode)-64bit
--- End quote ---
Did you build CB yourself or get it from somewhere else?
If somewhere else, where did you get it?
If you built it yourself what SVN version/rev did you build?

I got it from the following launchpad link:
https://launchpad.net/~damien-moore/+archive/ubuntu/codeblocks
Because the originally supplied Code::Blocks 16.01 crashed a lot on my Ubuntu 16.04 LTS system.
Specifications from Ubuntu Software:
Version: 16.01+p~launchpadrev9222~ubuntu16.04.1

Thanks for that info. I also see stability issues with Code::Blocks 16.01 under Kubuntu 17.04. Does the version above appear to be more stable? I will try it, but wonder if it is any different wrt. stability. Minor status bar issues like you describe is not a big deal, but sudden crashes can be problematic.

An observation: In revision 11157 after opening a project I still have this status bar problem. But if I click "view" menu then disable status bar and re-enable it from the same menu, I would have correct status bar displayed.

Again some problem that is only seen on ubuntu, because I don't see it on gentoo.
Start a ticket for it on sf.net and I might look at it some day.
