CB on Ubuntu VM doesn't refresh my UI

Hi Guys,

I'm currently working with 64b Ubuntu running on VMware and doing development with CB. My issue is that (for example) when I change my view from full screen to default view, the UI doesn't refresh. This also happens after a while when I close my tabs and open others.

I am looking for some direction as to who I should be seeking assistance from. Whether it be Ubuntu, VMware or CB as to the root of the issues I am currently seeing.

My versions are as follows:
VMware: 12.5.1 build-4542065
Ubuntu: Linux ubuntu 4.4.0-64-generic #85-Ubuntu SMP Mon Feb 20 11:50:30 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
CB: 13.12 Build Oct 23 2015, 22:44:30 - wx3.0.2 (Linux, unicode) - 64 bit

The CB version I have is the one that was available in the Ubuntu apt packages.


Hope its just something similar like changing to a 32b OS and everything will work :)

Most of these problems are caused by graphics drivers bugs...

i would also recommend to try a different desktop like gnome or xfce.

Changing the desktop to lxde worked for me, cheers guys!

Probably was a driver issue with gnome.
