Couldn't create project directory!!?

Hi, just installed codeblocks and was working on creating my first project when it told me "couldn't create project directory." I'm on windows 10 and Codeblocks version 16.1. Can anybody help me resolve this issue? Thanks in advance.

Where do you try to create the folder ?
Windows 10 is more strict about using special folders.

Also avoid putting your project in protected areas of the file system such as within either "Program Files" folder.
