compiles and executes C programs, but does not find c++ header files

Hello, this is really me, I´m new to CB and need to use C++ programs. I can see PCH files like iostream in CB installation, but ld.exe reports header file errors when I try to compile C++ programs, although C programs compile and run correctly. The c++ programs do have a .cpp extention, so that´s not the cause.  I´ve searched FAQs but sadly, still cannot find a solution and would be grateful if someone could help.
