Debugger issues..
« on: January 25, 2006, 03:09:28 am »
I've seen this issue in an old post, but there was no solution posted... at least not one that has solved the problem for me. C::B is generating an error each time I attempt to debug an application. "The Debugger Executable Is Not Set." it says. I have C::B 1.0rc2, Win2ksp4, and GDB 6.3-2. I have set the executable name as well as the path in the compiler/programs settings.  I have placed "C:\MINGW\bin" in my system path.

I see that other have experienced this, but I can't seem to dig up the solution...

Thanks.

Hello,

Try to use the latest nightly build or compile SVN sources by yourself and try again. Probably, this would solve your problem :).

If not, could you post the link of the post you are referring too?

WorstCritic: We were working on RC3, but we realized some bugs required a full rewrite to be fixed, and so here we are... in a way, yes, RC2 is obsolete. But it's also the latest stable version. Worst of both worlds? :P
