Newb Cannot use Codeblock

Hey code blocks, I downloaded code block today to try and write my first lines of code.
 1) I create a project
2) I seen the main intro to iostream page screen

However I have no idea what writing code makes. How do I run my code and see the results of my efforts? I HAVE written my code but how do I see the fruits of my labor(if any)?

Have you tried Project -> Build and Run?

You need to be more specific about what you are trying to do.
Post some screen shots might help us understand what your doing.
Reading at least parts of  the Codeblocks Wiki may help you get started.
