absolute new user of CB - need help

by mistake in testing the program i closed the compiler/build time window message and so now i don't get to see the compilation/build progress
please help how to get it back - otherwise this seems to be a good product to use for c ++ prog

Do you mean the Build Log pane and Build messages pane under the editor?
Just click the menu: View > Logs. The short-cut key is F2.
