Code:blocks is working in Mint and Ubuntu, but now win7 is giving me an error
(1/1)
carlyn:
Thanks for all your help. I have installed code:blocks in win 7 moments ago. I just want to be able to access it whatever OS I have booted into. After unzipping and installing I am getting an error when compiling a console C program (the same little hello world)
Seems it cant find the compiler and I don't have a clue what to do ! Is it something in the settings here i need to do ?
Jenna:
Make sure you really have a compiler installed at all.
Then check the masterpath and the executables names.
If you have a compiler installed you can try to click the autodetect-button to find the installation folder.
Nevertheless you have to check for the existence of the exe's, they might exist witth or without the prefix and probably even have a suffix (like dw2, etc. ).
