compiler setup error - Windows
« on: August 21, 2014, 07:49:03 pm »
I'm testing C::B for Windows 7. I kept getting compiler setup error.
In Settings->Compiler, I selected using VC++ 2010, but C::B kept asking to fix the error for Digital Mars Compiler which I didn't select. Here is the error message:

The compiler's setup (Digital Mars Compiler) is invalid, so Code::Blocks cannot find/run the compiler.
Probably the toolchain path within the compiler options is not setup correctly?! (Do you have a compiler installed?)
Goto "Settings->Compiler...->Global compiler settings->Digital Mars Compiler->Toolchain executables" and fix the compiler's setup.
Skipping...

What did I do wrong?

You've selected the Digital Mars compiler in a target or a project or you've set it as default if you're not using a project.
