Constant opened file from outside of IDE messages
« on: March 22, 2005, 07:40:12 am »
First off I'd like to thank you for such a great IDE.
I've had it for no more than two or three days and it's by far the best I've ever used.

A minor but easily irritating bug is that I keep getting messages about an opened file being altered outside of the IDE even when I know it has not.
It ocassionaly gives me this message when I minimize the IDE and then restore it.  Also occurs ocassionaly right after compiling or running within the IDE.

I'm running XP Home.  I'm downloading the new release right now so maybe it's been fixed.

Yes, it is fixed in beta6 :)

Yiannis.

PS: any plans on when we 'll be able to play NetDeath? ;)
Be patient!
This bug will be fixed soon...

Great, I have beta6 now and it's running well so far.
I didn't realize there was an option to turn it off in the environment settings.

NetDeath should be playable around June this year, but I'll be posting weekly (if not daily) builds =)

With beta5 it used to happen to me too, so I found it and fixed it. Now it doesn't happen here anymore.
And, yes, I 'm compiling things too!    8)  :P

Rob, can you be a little bit more descriptive? Do you follow a specific procedure which makes it happen? Is there a way for me to reproduce it?

To all: is anyone else experiencing this bug with beta6?

Cheers,
Yiannis.
