editor's window size is limited
« on: October 06, 2013, 06:32:10 pm »
Hello  :)

I'm working with Code::Blocks on a very small laptop, and I wanted to use this software to have more place to work.
But when I try to enlarge the window size, I'm limited to the desktop resolution. Is there any way I can get rid of this?
thanks.

PS:sorry for my bad english ^^

I suggest giving more information.

Operating System?
Code::Blocks Version?
wxWidgets version?

The website of that software states:
Quote
If Ms-Windows cuts off your window to maximum screen size and you miss a scrollbar use the 'Oversize'-Tab
to set the window size to your needs.

Though note that it also says that the tool is written in Perl (a rather unusual choice?), it extends the Windows desktop beyond its physical bounds, and that there exists no maximum virtual screen resolution.
"No limit, as large as you like" is a rather bold claim, as there are several very obvious hard limits both from the hardware and from Windows.
"We should forget about small efficiencies, say about 97% of the time: Premature quotation is the root of public humiliation."
