Need help with code blocks for mac?

Hi. i am new to C++ and i am having trouble running a program. i use a mac and currently have the leopard software. i tried to run "hello world" but the terminal window pops up and i cant see my message. i downloaded X11 but that doesnt open up and i think im supposed to use X11 and not terminal to run the program but i dont know how to. what should i do? thank you.

I guess you made a terminal project.
The result is a windows which appear, show "hello world" and vanish when it is done. There is an option in your project to enable to have a pause at the end, if I remember correctly.
