Windows 7 restricts access to folders made by CodeBlocks
« on: May 05, 2012, 03:48:44 am »
Like several others, I've had time monster problems with "permission denied" errors in Windows 7 64 bit. The folders and files have restricted access, even though I thought I killed all all the permissions nonsense long ago. Maybe Windows responds to the bad behavior of works in progress by restricting access, but my next step would be to check CodeBlocks for a wrong flag in the folder and file creation code. If I hadn't just lost 20 hours I might take it on, but I truly madly deeply hate computers at the moment.
