Site error
« on: December 12, 2005, 01:22:45 am »
Hi this page is wrong IMO.

http://www.codeblocks.org/screenshots.shtml

At the bottom it says Code::blocks instead of Code::Blocks.

And in the Wiki, the Article on "compiled headers" has
been deleted or something. It just says "you have to login
to edit the item".

thanks

Hello,

I have remarked another small error.

In the C::B wiki section Installing a supported compiler the link to Borland's C++ Compiler 5.5 is set false.

Actually, it is:

Quote
http://www.borland.com/products/downloads/download_cbuilder.html#

But it should be:

Quote
http://www.borland.com/products/downloads/download_cbuilder.html

Best wishes,
Michael

The link is working fine. An empty anchor (#) is like no anchor (I think :P).
And anyway it's a wiki. You can edit it directly if you find an error/typo :).
Be patient!
This bug will be fixed soon...

Hello,

I have tried again with the link in the C::B wiki main page and in the Installing a supported compiler, but just the first one worked. Funny, becuase they are the same :). Anyway, after working one time, it stopped to work and displayed the same error message as the second link :?.

The error message I get is:

Quote
The internetpage http://www.borland.com/products/downloads/download_cbuilder.html cannot be opened
Operation aborted

I use IE version 6.

I assume that this is just a local problem. And if it works fine for all, I think that we can let as it is :).

Best wishes,
Michael

So it works for you now?

Well, the link in the main page yes :). But the one in the section Installing a supported compiler no. This because is still set with an empty anchor.

Yeah works with Firefox no problem. I tried with IE and it worked, but then again I have XP Pro SP2. The IE with SP2 is a tad better than IE 6 SP1 I think (I don't use IE so who am I to say).....
