Can i get rid of some of these huge bars or make them smaller?

 or is there a way to make my source files detached?

Menu "View" -> "Toolbars" -> setup as desired
Menu "Settings" -> "Environment" -> "View" -> Choose toolbars icon size
Generally: Drag and drop so they appear next to each other, as desired.
