New Wiki section: Fortran specific stuff
MortenMacFly:
I have added a new section to the WiKi on how to get C::B working with Fortran applications. I actually did it yesterday but forgot to announce. So in case you didn't already notice, please note the new section "Installing the GNU G77 Fortran compiler" at http://wiki.codeblocks.org/index.php/Main_Page.
I hope you agree, even if it's a totally different language. But: It works! And I'm pretty sure that there are people out there (still using Fortran :o ) that search for an IDE with Fortran support... C::B has it!
With regards,
Morten.

Great! Not that I'll ever use Fortran, but the more languages supported the better!
terje_a:
Greetings all,
I am currently not able to access the referenced G77 installation notes...
I tried using Firefox and - dare I say it - IE6.0...
It appears to try to open a page, then I just get the main page again...
The much maligned fortran language is the basis for much of the engineering computation performed in my company and I am thrilled the Code::Blocks makes it easy to include fortran - and other off-the-beaten-path - languages. I am also very happy with the work done to include g77 support in RC2.
any ideas on what might be preventing access?
regards,
terje

It seems the link was a hardcoded (http://) link instead of a wiki link, and the url for links into the wiki has since changed. Fixed now.

...ooops!
Sorry & thanks Urxae. I just wonder why it did work for me in the first place...?! :?
Morten.
...Edit: Nevermind: I got that part wrong:
