This is me, and I am a human being. Now, I'm looking for a way to cross-compile a source code, written in C++, to run on Windows that will be able to connect to a MySQL on a Linux box. Again: C++ compiled to Linux ELF binary IS actually running on a Linux Box, do connect to the MySQL, brings me the results. Now I need this very same code, to become a Windows binary executable, to do the same: connect to a Linux Box that has a MySQL on it. I can not make it happen. I am using i586-mingw32msvc-g++ compiler.

Also, for a non native speaker (of English) it took me some tries to figure out what "write from right to left" meant in the security question.
