Use only ascii chars in your posts, not utf8 chars.

Thanks Pecan, it has helped. I replaced ndash in my post with ordinary hyphen. Although it is strange that in 2022 (almost 23) there is still a software which does not support Unicode. :o And it is misleading that SMF does not complain about Unicode chars when one presses the preview button.
