Keyboard shortcut for todo list plugin

Is there a way to make a keyboard shortcut to bring up the todo list dialog box. I know you can get to it from the context menu, but I would find it much quicker if I could hit (for example) ctrl+t

You can try the keybinder plugin (keyboard shortcuts or something like that)

Keybinder is of no help because the requested function is not available through the menu (only in the context menu).
This is kind of a bug. Patch attached.
