problems with run and build command

I have a problem running the build/run/run&build commands - eg. I finish the code and i want to test it, but once I build and run nothing happens. It's like I haven't done anything, it just stands. I can still write and save my files but code blocks just won run them. So if anyone can tell me how to fix it, I'll be very thankful.
OS: WinXP 32bit
