help!! problems with codeblocks installed on redhat 9

I had installed codeblocks 8.02 on redhat 9 platform, and after installed finished, I start the application, then display errors:

Good morning.

The last time I officially used RH9 was back in 2003. I don't know if it will work for you but for sure it will give you lots of headaches with various library dependencies.

Why don't you follow the latest GNU / Linux versions? If your concern is about a Lightweight Operating System, you can find lots of them out there. The best example for me is SliTaz which I use for old computers. It can run on PCs with the lowest RAM on it.

Give yourself a try. Else, you can try GNU / Linux Fedora 13 which is the continuation of Red Hat Desktop.

Thank you very much,  I used to concern about a Lightweight Operation System running in VWware machine, so I choosed redhat9,
I will have a try to choose fedora 13 .
