codeblocks crash on startup

<< < (2/3) > >>

judess69er:
codeblocks-8.02mingw

its the first time it gave me the error before it would actually start up now it just crashes

im running on windows vista

Jenna:
Did you install a newer MinGW with a newer mingw10m.dll in your systempath that interferes with C::B's mingw10m.dll ?
Or did you install anything else before the crash ?

One thing you can try is to delete C::B's default.conf in %APPDATA%\codeblocks (or better rename the folder so you can recreate your conf if it is not the cause). C::B will create a configuration from scratch at next start (if it starts).

You can also uninstall C::B 8.02 and install the new 10.05 release (http://www.codeblocks.org/downloads/26)

judess69er:
the mingw i use is from tdm
ok so i downloaded the new release and i get this error

oBFusCATed:
Does the default.conf file contains some valid xml?

judess69er:
wheres that located?

Edit: stupid question

nope the default is blank
