Not able to debugg codeblocks

I am using windows vista and i  when i start code blocks i get the following message


unable to open ...\Microsoft\windows\start menu\ Programs\codeblocks\<invalid path>

what should i do now please suggest.

Put your programs in a location that you have read/write/exec rights.
Sorry I thought it was the program you compiled; not CB itself.
If recreating the short-cut fails to work; I would try re-installing.

i have reinstalled many times but the same problem is again shown.

Did you delete or rename CB configuration file default.conf in folder %APPDATA%/codeblocks ?

Are you sure, that after uninstalling C::B nothing is left in the programs menu, the quickstart menu or on the desktop ?
