braces in CodeBlocks under Ubuntu

Please, how can I write braces in CodeBlocks under Ubuntu ?
I have tried with Alt - 1 2 3 but it doesn't work !

Search for keyboard or equivalent, on Ubuntu, keyboard issues have already been solved (for auto completion I think)
