Erm, I was serious in my post, I just had an idea for a logo but I lack the time and, more importantly, skill to make it look pretty (I used to be a 3D artist, but I never did 2D or design) - I don't think my logo warrants an entry in the poll, nice as the gesture is :) .

I'd vote for #1 (although I prefer the grey gradient in the background from #2).

I posted my Splash idea here http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php/topic,12270.0.html but I want to propose it here again. The font is a bit to classy so I put a version without it. So if you like, you can try yourself...

As I mentioned in the post befor, I tried to avoid another MS-Office-like appearance and tried something more demo-scene-like, so I added some noise and bloom.
