path contains too many

I know it's not a new error message, but it is still there...

I get the error: The path "blahblah" contains too many ".."! for several (but not all) files.
the project compiles, but i can't open several of the files in the editor.

some infos:
- the files are "far away" form the project-file ( <Unit filename="../../../source/3rdParty/tinyxml/tinyxml.h"> )
- no problems with same project in the win32 version.
- ~ 90 files are in the project.

after I had to replace my linux box the error seems to be gone.
perhaps it was a "out of memory" error but codeblocks didn't find the right words?
