Just for the record: I set this topic to sticky...

I kind of got carried away and replaced some graphics in my local version.  Compiling software with your own UI resources is fun.

The variation of the blocks used in the last few images is quite nice. This might make much nicer application icons than the rendered one too.
Maybe one could try a horizontal arrangement such as the upper one in image 6, but not using all-caps and with a typeface closer to Arial (which I think we have been using everywhere for the name during the last half-decade).

We don't necessarily have to make a fuzz about the revision number, by the way. I saw you tried to integrate it in one of your screenshots. The way it is with that circle and such just happened to look intriguing in the region skinned version used in 8.02, but we could as well opt for a simple rectangular splash, for example. Information such as the revision or build date could as well appear in 8 pt size at the bottom of the box or something. I mean, it doesn't have to be all weird and flippy :)

Some new variations with a font change...

Thomas, thank you for the feedback, I just now saw it, and I will make some Arial+Horizontal ones tomorrow.

As requested, here is one that conforms more to the current Code:Blocks logo style. (Horizontal arrangement, CamelCase capitalization, and Arial-like font)
