Codeblocks won't start on linux virtbox...

Amazing Weasel:
I'm running Fedora 11 on virtual box with vista as the host.
Basically codeblocks was working before I added the VirtualBox Additions and some others (wxwidgets can't remember the others).
Now when I try and launch codeblocks it nothing happens.
I've tried re-installing Code Blocks about 5 times, clueless have no idea what to do any suggestions?

I'm new to linux and its command lines (been using for about 2 days) I didn't know how to start from the console, so I didn't bother with it.
Basically I had messed with the config settings (I don't know how) and restored them to default and now it works.
