Fresh install wont build

Hi

Ive tried a search and nothing helpful came back other than several locked threads...

Im running a macbook pro with 10.6.2

tried to install codeblocks 8.02 patch 2 version. Installed properly however when clicking the build button nothing happens at all...

I also have parallels 5 and windows 7. tried it there with the same result.


I know there must be something simple that isnt setup properly even though i followed the setup to a T.


Please help me, this is needed for school

Did YOU install a compiler?
If not, INSTALL a compiler.
