Your posts lacks some basic information:
which version of C::B do you use,
self-compiled or pre-build,
which version of wxWidgets is used,
which OS do you use ?
But let me guess, afetr a try on my virtual w2k-box:
your OS is windows (I can confirm it for C::B actual trunk with wxWidgets 2.8.10).
Works fine here under linux (debian 64-bit, C::B actual trunk and wxWidgets 2.8.10).
So it is most likely a wxMSW issue.
