[Linux] Slower performance on opening than under wine

Hi Jens,

just brilliant. I tested it this morning and I can confirm your improved loading: 46 s, so that's now well below wine codeblocks.exe, and only about 15 s more than windows (which I find tolerable).
Congratulations, you cut loading time by a factor 3 comparing to trunk!
