Code::Blocks and FreeBASIC?
« on: April 21, 2009, 04:54:27 pm »
Hi all,

I'm more or less exclusively working in C++ now, but I have a few old programs written in FreeBASIC. There are only a few mentions of it here so I'm guessing C::B doesn't support FB, but I was wondering if there are any plans to include support for this language/compiler? It would be cool to edit both from one IDE, especially given some C++ stuff is integrated into FB as it is.

I also use C++ for 2 decades, but it would be nice to see something like that.
I think it is not very difficult because debugger is gdb and only the compiler is fbc32 or fbc64 (based on gcc).
Of course code completion is not necessery.
Syntax highlighting is not mandatory.
