wxSmith causes crash of c::b
« on: August 26, 2008, 05:59:43 pm »
Hi,

the system is a SuSE 11.0 x86_64 on athlon 64 X2. c::b build is 5177.

trying to remove a button from the toolbar using the toolbar editor results in a freeze of c::b without possibility of recover. I can move buttons and separators though. Inserting a button works fine only that trying to delete it equally causes a crash.

A bit ugly the fact that I can't remove a button selecting it in the resource panel and deleting it there alternatively. Or that I can't kill and restart only the wxSmith plugin or at least kill the toolbar editor only ...

Under windows I never had this problem, could be something in the wxGtk port simply. I note the wxSmith editor much less responsive under linux than under windows too. Don't know if this matters: the machine is a two processor one.

Regards and many thanks for the great IDE
