Webpage suggestion
« on: May 30, 2008, 03:01:28 pm »
How about adding a direct link from www.codeblocks.org to the developer pages at Berlios (as I remember being there on the old webpage), not only via wiki?

Regards,
Oliver

We have in mind to switch the dev pages to another server / system in the future.
Compiler logging: Settings->Compiler & Debugger->tab "Other"->Compiler logging="Full command line"
C::B Manual: https://www.codeblocks.org/docs/main_codeblocks_en.html

Just thought it might be of interest for developers visiting the CB homepage for the first time. For more frequent visitors bookmarking the link should be the favourable option.

You mean the project pages at Berlios? Or the wiki?

Oliver

Basically both. But no worries - no content nor feature will be lost.

I don't worry about losses - I worried about extensions ;-).

Beside that, another idea I would like to turn your attention to: you will definitely have already stumbled upon the screenshot of featured apps on the frontpage of wxwidgets.org, frequently exchanged on page reload. I think CB should also be included there, I also think I don't have to explain the reasons why. Or did anyone already suggest this and it's simply too hard to get the guys at wxwidgets.org do this?

Regards,
Oliver
