Nightly RSS feed not up2date+to short
«

Hi folks!
Because I'm interested in C:B for
this feature
I poll the "UnOffical Code::Blocks Build Thread" to get noticed if it's implemented and to be up to date how the development proceeds. The problem is that this RSS feed is unfortunetly not actual, the last release is "21 May 2007 (rev3977)". Oh and there's only a hint, no details what is added/fixed. Would be cool if somebody would improve this.
By the way I know that this is a sparetime project and that I doesn't pay for a great IDE so have not to peg out any claims :oops:. This isn't a request of course. It's just a please and a hint;). A lot of good opensource projects build great things but forget to make a userfriendly way for newcomers. Yes you're currently in some kind of beta-phase but the development still proceeds, so keep the interested people up to date

well it is up to date. Last entry is 23 may (not 21) !
Since then berlios problems and no new nightlies have been published.
The change log is too big to put in the RSS, therefor just little announcements.

patch is already applied (modified) on my laptop : will commit it tomorrow.
One special thing : it's a C/C++ compiler.
But where are the C++ headers ?? (iostream, string, cstdio, cstring , ...)

Damn how embarrasing :oops: seems to be a problem with my reader, sry!
Thanks for the patch!
Well the difference is that the first one is an toolchain for ARM based 32 bit cpu. The other is for Atmel AVR 8bit cpu familiy. For your point of view it are two seperated compilersets (ok with similar options). For the enduser developers use just one of them because the most are specialised to one cpu design ;-)

Well IMHO there is no real support for C++ for that simple microcontrollers because the payload of OOP-framework would make no sense. But I have no experience, for exact details please look at:

So I watch the RSS feed till a time. Might it be possible to add the short announcements of the Nigthly forum threads to the feed? That would be enough (for me
)
