I believe the Mac folks are looking for a wxProcess replacement. Boost currently has
Boost.Process library developed by a SoC student. I haven't given it an indepth look but it might be something to take a look at. I don't know how much of Boost it depends on, but there is a good chance that it just header files so it could be pretty easy to add to the CB source.
