Using Dev Packs

(1/1)

rz950:
It is possible to use devcpp packages with code::blocks, just rename the file into a .tar.bz2 and open it with 7-zip or winzip. This is something that can be done until a unpacker is made for c::b.

Use http://devpaks.org/ to find packages you might want, all packages work but some require you to tell the project were to look for it.

P.S Rickg22 I'm working on the cvs tool right now....

I'm slowly starting to work on a Devpak plugin, but in the meantime, you can easily use the PackMan.exe executable from Dev-CPP, once you put the executable in the code::blocks main directory, where the codeblocks.exe file is found.

One such plugin is already in the works :)
Wait a couple of days until I iron out a few rough edges and then I 'll put it in CVS. If you want, then, you can try working on it and, if you 're good at it, become its maintainer ;)
