This was a first time Installation of version 17.12 (I used "codeblocks-17.12mingw-setup.exe") on this PC. (Windows 10.) I right clicked and ran the installer executable as admin. It appeared to work without any hitches. However, after installation when attempting to launch, it never got beyond displaying the CB start-up splash screen. In Task Manager, I observed the % CPU usage for CB jump to expected levels for about 4 to 6 seconds after launching, seeming to indicate all was good, but then settled to 0%, and the splash screen was left on the primary monitor screen until I ended the task in Task Manager several minutes later.
Has anyone seen this behavior before?
