Laptop to a monitor

When I connect my laptop to a monitor the size of the menu that shows the .cpp or .h files, shows very big related to the other things, there is a solution? CodeBlocks is the only program that makes this problem when I connect my laptop to the monitor

Can you please provide more details?
What is the resolution/dpi of the monitors?
What OS you're using?
What version of C::B?
Screenshot or photo of the problem?

OS means operating system as in Linux, MS Windows, etc.
