Yes, I did change the name of the project. I thought it would be sufficient to rename the files. This turned out not to be the case.

I spoke to soon. There is still a problem. The wxs file is open in three different tabs, and all three of them show it as a text file. If I try to close any of them Code::Blocks crashes. I suspect it is corruption in the cpb file I introduced when I changed the name of the wxs file. The project can be downloaded here:

I get only one wxs open (using SVN 11195); anyway you can try moving or renaming the .layout file.

It also works for me. I opened codeblocks and the wxsmith file was open as xml code, so there was something strange. But i had no crash or anything strange...
Have you tried to delete the .layout file?
Does all filenames are correct? It would be the best you use a backup you have send us and to try a gain. But before opening delete the layout file
