Well I voted for Proposal [by Takeshi Miya]. I really like it. The only thing that I really see wrong with it is that the bottom, and side edges of a couple of the blocks are a little jagged (it is sort of subtle though)......

Takeshi, what's the point in this poll, anyway?

Yiannis asked...
You wish it was that easy, don't you? ;)
Someone who cares, should start a poll about it and after it's over, notify me of the results :).

In case itsn't clear, the point is the one that wins, will be notified to Yiannis, and he will decide if it will be the official logo.

I really like the actual one (by Thomas), even if a bit big (IMHO of course :)).

IMHO the best logos are "previous" by Thomas  (rc2) (second place are by Yiannis) - they are simple, clean and readable (especially *nix logo).
Don't offence, but...
I don't like "proposal" logos by Takeshi Miya becouse, imho, they are overloaded by "shadow" effect and they have strange two-color background (plastic-like effect?).
I don't like "actual" logos by Thomas becouse, imho, colors are bad and "hurts eyes".
best regards,

I voted Yannis', I like its simplicity.

What I didn't like in Takeshi Miya's images is the blue number one, the color just doesn't fit to that image IMO.

Thomas, your image is good but you over-use emboss/colors (in Actual).

What bothers me in every image is the huge number one. :(

You mean something more like this, or I interpreted it bad? (sorry if the colors are a bit strange, it's a mockup)

I'm open to suggestions. :)

It was gray originally, but most people here liked the version with blue gradient, so I posted that.

What bothers me in every image is the huge number one. :(
If you see it chronologically, it's being carried from the Yiannis original one.

Perhaps something like this?:

Wow that (the one with the blue one) is even better than the proposal.....

Yes, I like takeshimiya's latest. No big "1" in there, plain and simple. Actually, I liked Thomas' idea, but the red one was kinda unexpected and well :-/. I'd like it if you removed that 1, sorry.

I have never thought that such a lot of people like the simplicity :o. Interesting :D.

IMHO Thomas new logo is some kind of different, innovative and original. May be it is too big and the red one could be removed, but anyway, I still prefer it. Pity that I can vote only one time :D.
