Hi,

Ubuntu: 4.4.0-66-generic #87-Ubuntu "Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS"
Welcome to Code::Blocks 16.01!

On 3 separate machines, HPq , HP Laptop  and Acer with different video cards, acceleration on and off, does not mater.
I have all my projects on CB. Since I installed Ubuntu 16 and CB 16 I practically cannot work.

These happen in within seconds after launch.
  • The project tree in no time stops to respond, to collapse, expand, though by click events does but I don't see it
    The tabs at the top as well stop repainting themselves or disapear.
    File operations browser is blank.

Goto the Code completion settings and disable the symbol browser. Most probably this is what is causing the problem.
If it doens't disappear after you disable the Symbol browser. Try a night build (there is a PPA for ubuntu) and try to reproduce it there.

Tank you. It is better. Tabs still do not get activated when selecting files form tabs, but the files get in view.

Can you please elaborate on the last post? I didn't understand a thing.
