Codeblocks hides global hotkeys
« on: October 10, 2014, 10:37:42 am »
When using clodeblock, the global hotkeys I defined are hidden, i.e. they do not work at all. AFAICS codeblocks doesn't use these hotkeys, but still hides them. In my case I am using ctrll-alt-window + arrow to switch desktops, or ctrl-F5 to switch to desktop 5. My OS is fedora 20 (fully updated).

Is there a way to make some of the global keys available to the window manager?

Disable keybinder plugin and does the problem go away?
If yes, I would look at the settings for the keybinder plugin.

No idea if restarting CB is needed after disabling keybinder plugin.

After disabling keybinder, the problem does not go away. I did restart codeblocks.

The weird thing is, if I start codeblocks, then I can ctrl-w-alt-right-arrow out of the desktop, and left arrow back. But after that none of the shortcuts work any more, including alt-f4, which should close the application.
