Environmental Error after installation
« on: March 25, 2014, 10:25:11 am »
Hi,

After installing the binary version of Code Block software, there is a pop up on the lower right of the window saying that there is an environmental error. Attached is the error I am seeing. May I know if I need to install any additional files?

this warning says everything you have to know, to solve your problem. Codeblocks is not a compiler, its a IDE, so it needs a correct compiler installation... If you have a compiler installed, you have to adjust the settings in settings->compiler->your compiler->Toolchain executables

greetings

Hi, I'm totally new to programming. I don't think I have installed any compiler?

i don't know, i'm not your pc...
Out there are tons of material how to install c::b with a compiler, and if you are not willing to search it for your own, you can also stop to learn programming, because this is nothing for silly people, you have to search a lot with this hobby...
