New version??
« on: November 29, 2005, 11:18:29 pm »
Hey!

I really like codeblocks, but I am a litte tired of those stupid little bugs that this new version has. Would it be so hard to just make a small release to correct a few bugs.
Like the bug that when you select text and then right click the text get unselected. This one is really starting to get annoying :(

Please!!! Release something

Lol, anyway, we're working really hard to get RC3 working. hang tight... in the meantime, the SVN snapshots after 29/11/2005 will do fine :)

After I downloaded CodeBlocksSVN20051224.7z from http://gda.utp.edu.co/~ceniza/CodeBlocks/, I found it is corrupt.
Additionally, I hope the home page of Code::Blocks can be put these snapshot links, then the bug correction and functionality increase can be more easily.

Yes, I have remarked too and posted it already :). May be it is a problem with 7-Zip. Try Therion's binary.

I downloaded the file, then used 7-Zip to test it.
But it showed that the file had been corrupt.
My 7-Zip version is 4.32.
My OS is Win 98 SE.

I used the newest version of Free Download Manager and Net Transport to download these files, but got corrupted ones.
Then I directly downloaded these files using Firefox, and got the correct files.
I guess the 7z format can't be identified correctly by Free Download Manager and Net Transport.

In my experience, its the downloader that is causing
the problem. Any downloader that attempts to use
multiple connections on the Ceniza server gets
corrupted .7z files.

Using the single connection Firefox downloader
works ok.

Ceniza's SVN binaries
Therion's SVN binaries

Please, could these two highly useful links go to www.codeblocks.org's Download page or Links page?

Thanks

from this weekend on, probably also ansi builds (which can be use on win9x).
