Help adding Boost library
« on: June 26, 2013, 08:25:58 pm »
How do you add Boost library to CodeBlocks? I tried adding it under search directors, but still don't work. Also know this is really dumb question, but can't figure it out. Never added a library to my IDE before. I am also new to CodeBlocks as I used Dev C++ before, but it bit out dated now.

Thank you very much for your time.

Do you have a compiled (ready to use) boost? The default download from the boost website isn't.

Still won't work. Have no idea why something as simple as adding a library  not working.

Read the FAQ and the Rules; then post a real and smart CB question.

Edit: Added link to User Docs http://wiki.codeblocks.org/index.php?title=User_documentation
Edit2: Never used the Boost link; must have been added after I stopped looking for Boost directions. http://wiki.codeblocks.org/index.php?title=BoostWindowsQuickRef#Set_up_a_Code::Blocks_global_variable_for_Boost
