Can't assign ctrl/* to keyboard shortcut on Linux
« on: April 24, 2013, 03:13:57 pm »
I am using both Windows and Linux C::B. On Windows I have assigned ctrl/* (the * on the keypad) to Settings/Editor/Keyboard shortcuts/View/Jump/Jump Back. That works fine on Windows.

But on Linux it won't let me assign ctrl/*. When I press ctrl/* it does nothing. (note that I'm using Virtual Box because I don't have a Linux box ... so if it works for others that may be the problem).

Can someone try that out for me?

Keyboard assignments can only be made if the underlying OS or wxWidgets or GTK allow it. There are a number of keys like that.
