Unable to create new project!
« on: April 25, 2011, 02:33:54 am »
First of all , I am new to this forum so feel free to yell at me if I am breaking some rules.

I use codeblocks (10.05) with GCC and MinGW on Debian and Windows (XP).
I have the same issue at my machine at work and also my home computer (both running windows xp).
After starting codeblocks I click create project , build target = console and then I click the go button.
Now codeblocks spits an error message into my face (ok I am really ugly but this is uncalled for).
the error message is : you need to open (or create) a project first. ...well I am clicking the create project button on the startscreen right?
This was never a problem until recently.
Any ideas to what I should try to do to solve this little nugget of entertainment?!

Hmmmmm stupid me confused the 'list of things' to the left with the cathegory drop down button - assuming they where the same!
Man doesn't it feel great to make a fool of yourself for the entire internet to enjoy :S
